At first glance, my journey may appear like that of any dedicated doctor with a passion for skin health and beauty. But beneath the surface lies a deeper, more personal story — one rooted in resilience, empathy, and healing from within.
I was diagnosed with Lupus — a chronic autoimmune condition — at a time when I was just beginning to find my footing in the medical world. It wasn’t just a diagnosis; it was a turning point. What followed were years of managing flares, fatigue, and uncertainty, all while wearing the proverbial white coat and holding space for others.
Lupus taught me strength — not the kind you boast about, but the quiet kind that keeps you going on the hard days. It deepened my connection to wellness, to gentleness, and to the kind of beauty that comes from feeling truly seen and cared for. It’s from this space that Luminara Skin was born.
My mission with Luminara Skin is more than skin-deep. It’s about creating luxurious, plant-based products and treatments that honour both your skin and your spirit. Every formula, every touchpoint, is made with sensitivity in mind — because I’ve lived through sensitivity, both physical and emotional.
